We are sad to announce that on June 18, 2025, at the age of 84, Ernest Edward Shoemaker of New Boston, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Shoemaker and Jessie Shoemaker (Shotwell); his son Ernest "Eddie" Shoemaker, Jr.; and his siblings, Esther Reckhammner, Janice Brown, Robert, John and Harry Shoemaker.
He is survived by: his wife Margo Bloem; his children, Sheila Brown of New Boston, Kim of New Boston, Kenny Seitz of New Boston, Tracey Wilkens of New Boston, Michael, Kelli Shoemaker of Ridgefield, WA, Kevin of Lakeland, FL, Toy Shoemaker of Lakeland, FL, Travis of Lakeland, FL, Trevor Shoemaker of Lakeland, FL and Melanie Sedam of Oakville, IA; and his pet Jack.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the New Boston Assembly of God Church (404 Good St, New Boston, IL 61272). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to the Shoemaker Family.
