It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen L. Dale of New Boston, Illinois, born in Moline, Illinois, who passed away on November 16, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Everett Franklin and Betty Jean Knox Downey; her siblings, Anna Hays of Viola, David Downey (Kathy) of New Boston and Robert Downey (Sherry) of Viola; and her daughter Vickie Neill.

She is survived by : her former life partner Vernon G. Dale; and her children, Wanda Hansen of New Boston and Sean Dale of New Boston.
