With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Charlotte Ann Brown of New Lenox, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 16, 2025 at the age of 88. She was predeceased by: her parents, Garland Roberts and Georgia Roberts; and her former husband Donald L. Brown. She is survived by: her husband Dermond "David" Sneed; her children, Cheryl Story (late Roger), Suzan Cmolik (Robert), Linda Carrigan (Jerry) and Don Brown (Lisa); her grandchildren, Roger Jr. Story (Jess), Cyndi Ammons (Mickey), Becky Franz (Jon), Georgia Barreiro, Jacob Barreiro (CeCe), Ysobel Schmidt, Teri Tucci (David), Elizabeth Wahls (David), Alexandria Orlando (Jon), Kyle Brown and Robin Brown; her stepchildren, David "Mitch" Sneed (Susan) and Donna Cain; her siblings, Jean McMillan, Louise Dillow, Louis Ray Roberts, Arlene Maxey, Dean Roberts and Bonnie Tolly; and her sisters-in-law, Vivan Roberts and Glenda Brown.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Kurtz Memorial Chapel (102 East Francis Road, New Lenox, IL 60451). A memorial service was held on Sunday, November 23rd 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
