With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Daniel Ray Albert (New Lenox, Illinois), born in Hidalgo, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 15, 2025 at the age of 75. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Nathanael Albert and Dorothy Marie Albert (Tiemann). He is survived by: his children, Ross Andrew Albert and Leila Renee Albert (Chuck Webb); his wife Kathleen Renee; his brothers, Carl Albert, Dave and Bill Albert (Barbara); and his stepchildren, Mike Swanberg and Amy Swanberg. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 12th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Kurtz Memorial Chapel (102 East Francis Road, New Lenox, IL 60451). A memorial service will be held on Monday, May 12th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, May 12th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery (20953 W Hoff Rd, Elwood, IL 60421).
