He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Zobel and Lucille Zobel; and his sister Beverly. He is survived by: his wife Linda Zobel; his children, Brianna Stalwick (Gabe), Jenna Komnenich (Max) and Eric Goebig (Ann-Marie); his grandchildren, Austin, Emily, Bennett, Warren, Russell, Charlotte and Erica; and his sister Diana. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the United Methodist Church of New Lenox (339 W Haven Ave, New Lenox, IL 60451).
