He is survived by : his wife Wanda Benkendorf; his children, Donald Benkendorf Jr. (Cathleen) and Carin Kamleiter (Tod); and his grandchildren, Andrew Marquardt (Nancy Trombley), Donald Benkendorf III, Jeffery Benkendorf and Alison Marquardt (Jacob Wolf).
