She is survived by: her children, Monica Schmitt (Jerry) and John (Megan Brooks); her grandchildren, JT Schmitt (Tara), Molly Schmitt (Matthew Berhman), Elizabeth McAdams, Josephine Schmitt, MaryKate McAdams and John Schmitt; her siblings, Eugene Flynn (Nancy) and Maggie Opal (Bob); and her former husband Thomas McAdams. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, August 30th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Kurtz Memorial Chapel (102 East Francis Road, New Lenox, IL 60451). A prayer was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Jude Catholic Church (241 W 2nd Ave, New Lenox, IL 60451).
