It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marianne J. Been of New Lenox, Illinois, who passed away on May 21, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Anthony and Mary Gertrude Jast; and her siblings, Raymond J. Jast (M. L.), Ginger M. Longshore (late Steve), Karen F. Olson, John E. Jast (Julie) and Paul E. Jast.
She is survived by: her husband Robert R. Been; her children, Jacob A. Been (Mathew Babula) and Sarah E. Rayola (Vince); and her grandsons, Remy and Leo Rayola. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Kurtz Memorial Chapel (102 East Francis Road, New Lenox, IL 60451). A prayer was held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A Mass was held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Jude Catholic Church (241 W 2nd Ave, New Lenox, IL 60451). A burial was held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 at the Maplewood Cemetery (331 W Haven Ave, New Lenox, IL 60451).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Marianne's name to St. Jude Catholic Church New Lenox or your favorite local charity.
