He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Irene Weinert and Donald Weinert; his wife Cheryl Weinert; his children, Rebecca Oswald and Mark Weinert (Stacey Rokusek); his granddaughters, Grace Oswald (Michael Weeks) and Gwen Oswald; and his sisters, Susan Spina (late Mike), Linda Ellis (Bryan), Karen Lukaszka (Ed) and Julie Schruefer (John).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Kurtz Memorial Chapel (102 East Francis Road, New Lenox, IL 60451).
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Nick's name to the New Lenox VFW Post 9545, would be appreciated.
