We are sad to announce that on October 4, 2025, at the age of 62, Paul E. Jast of New Lenox, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Paul has departed this earthly realm, his legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May his spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Jast and Mary Jast; and his sister Marianne Been (Robert). He is survived by: his siblings, Raymond Jast (M. L.), Ginger Longshore (late Steve), Karen Olson and John Jast (Julie).
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Kurtz Memorial Chapel (102 East Francis Road, New Lenox, IL 60451). A prayer will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 9:15 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Jude Catholic Church (241 W 2nd Ave, New Lenox, IL 60451). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 11:15 AM at the Maplewood Cemetery (331 W Haven Ave, New Lenox, IL 60451).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to local first responders.
