He was predeceased by: his wife Lillian; his parents, George Tatroe and Elsie Tatroe (Lembke); and his siblings, George, Herbert Tatroe and Evelyn Ahlvin.
He is survived by: his children, Stephen Tatroe (Renee), Brian Tatroe (Terri) and Marian Youngren (Ron); and his grandchildren, Karyn Tejan (Walt), Sonia Eberspacher (Jeff), Stefan Tatroe, Kalyssa Soucy (Dave), Chrisanna Olson (Justin), Dustin Tatroe, Candyce Jordan (Tom), Blake, Ryan Renner (Nicla), Brett Renner (Emily), Colton Youngren (Tionna) and Ian Youngren (Courtney). He is also survived by 22 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Hickey Memorial Chapels - New Lenox (2100 Calistoga Dr, New Lenox, IL 60451). A prayer will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St Jude Church (241 W 2nd Ave, New Lenox, IL 60451). An entombment will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Resurrection Cemetery - Romeoville (200 W Romeo Rd, Romeoville, IL 60446).
