She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Malek and Irene Malek; and her siblings, Karen Ellers, Glenn Malek (Susan) and Nancy Shostok (James).
She is survived by: her husband Robert "Bob" Arthurs; her son Steven Arthurs (Desiree Evans); and her brothers, Richard Malek (Janice) and James Malek.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Kurtz Memorial Chapel (102 East Francis Road, New Lenox, IL 60451). A Mass will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary Magdalene Church (201 S Briggs St, Joliet, IL 60433).
