It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Howard Etheridge Jr. (New Lenox, Illinois), born in Hammond, Indiana, who passed away on August 20, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his son Brandon; his parents, Elizabeth and William Sr.; his sisters, Linda Lou, Gail and Betty; and his pets, Max and Theodore.
He is survived by: his daughters, Elizabeth (Irene) and Cynthia (Michael); his grandchildren, Ava, Damon, Joshua and Ivan; his great grandchild Knox; his former wife Annette; his friends, Bruce and Trudy; and his brother Glen. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
He enjoyed giving thoughtful gifts, donating to charities, and even sponsoring a child in need.
