He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charles W. Uphouse and Maxine A. Uphouse; his spouse Jessie "Jill" Uphouse; his children, Eric Uphouse (Anita), Stephen Uphouse (Brenda), Christopher Uphouse (Kathleen McCall), John Uphouse and Deborah Uphouse; and his grandchildren, Veronica "Ronni" Uphouse, Chuck Uphouse (Nikki), Cheryl Uphouse, Karsten Richmond, Rebecca "Becky" Lewis, Joseph "Joey" Uphouse, Joshua "Josh" Uphouse, Jonah Uphouse, Gavin Uphouse, Isla Uphouse and Lughan Uphouse.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 21st 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kurtz Memorial Chapel (102 East Francis Road, New Lenox, IL 60451). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 21st 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
