He was predeceased by: his parents, James R. Rush and Mary Lee Evans Rush; his daughter Kimberly Harter; his siblings, Russell Rush, Paul Rush, Donna Buckley (Rene), Lucille Kiesewetter (Bud), Deloris Shaffer (Buster) and Dorothy Brown (Ray); and his in-laws, Tony Kroeschel and Marie Rush.
He is survived by: his wife Della Rush of New Salem, IL; his children, Bruce Rush (Rita) of Summer Hill, IL and Angie Smith (Luke) of Summer Hill, IL; his grandchildren, Adam Rush, Adam Bratsch (Heather), Alysia Carruthers (John), Aaron Rush (Debbie), Kelsey Harter, Bryce Harter (Chabra), Cayden Harter, Camden Harter, Adrienne White (Aaron) and Lucas Smith; his siblings, David Rush (Betty), James Rush (Betty), Ronnie Rush, Lester Rush (Janet) and Diane Kroeschel; and his sister-in-law Norma Rush. He is also survived by eighteen great grandchildren.
