With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary Lee Wintjen of New Salem, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 6, 2026 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Mildred Pauline Parks Williams and Otto Williams; her grandson Zachary Hull; her great grandchildren, Michael Butler and Alex Embree; her siblings, John Williams and Claudine Wilson; and her son-in-law Bill French.

She is survived by: her children, Carolyn Talley (Wade) of Baylis, IL, Debbie Hull (Eric) of New Salem, IL, James Wintjen (Dee) of Griggsville, IL and Sandy French of New Salem, IL; and her grandchildren, Jennifer Embree, Nash Butler (Laura), Donnie Hull (Samantha), Chris Hull (Ashley), McKenzie Ballinger (Danny), Matt Baxter (Ashley), Ross Butler (Juanita), Nicole Bedenbender (James) and Jamie Wintjen (Courtney). She is also survived by twenty-five great grandchildren; and one great great grandson.
