He was predeceased by: his father Lyle "Bus" Johnson; and his brother Mitch Johnson. He is survived by: his mother Marilyn Johnson (Peterson) of New Windsor; his wife Claudine Johnson (Baze); his daughters, Jennifer Holliday (Brian) of Milan and Amanda Kantzavelos (Louie) of Burlington, Iowa; his grandchildren, Logan, Lindsay Holliday, Christos, Michael and Zoey Kantzavelos; his sisters, Merigene Cooper (Jack) of New Windsor and Malia Winn (Derald) of Rock Island, Illinois; and his sister-in-law Victoria Engnell of Macomb, Illinois. He is also survived by many nephews and a niece.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, May 19th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Christy's.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society for skin cancer education and research, Hopewell Cemetery, or the New Windsor Rodeo Run.
