We are sad to announce that, on February 16, 2026, at the age of 91, Barbara Ann Hanson of Newton, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Wilson and Blanche Wilson (Tabb); her husband Vernon Eugene Hanson; and her sister Nellie Wilson. She is survived by: her children, Earlene Rubsam (Steve) of Newton, Illinois, Gary Hanson (June) of Lake Lure and Donna J. Keller (Chris) of West Liberty; her grandchildren, Rachel Dodd (Quinton), Sarah Venema (Jordan), Jill Hanson, Blake Hanson (Dana), Dr. Eric Dallman (Alivia), Rebecca Dallman, Hillary Rhodes (Tyler) and Ethan Keller (Zoe Diamond); her great grandchildren, Finley Venema, Jamie Hanson, Molly Hanson, Hadley Rhodes, William Keller, Rosslyn Schafer and Evelyn Schafer; and her sister Carolyn Dickey of Savoy. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
