She was predeceased by: her parents, James E. "Jim" Thompson and Betty Jean Thompson (Dillman); her husband Joe Thompson; and her siblings, James Lee "Jim" Thompson and Kathy Ann Boyd McCarthy.
She is survived by: her children, Ashley Cobble (Jacob) of Newton and Douglas (Amy); her granddaughter Lilly Cobble of Newton; and her siblings, Robert Thompson (Jan) of Oxnard, Jack Thompson (Marge) of Sainte Marie and Jude Volk (Bill "Wicker") of Wakefield, Illinois..
In loving memory of Barbara, memorials may be made to the Jasper County Cancer Support Group.
