She is survived by: her sons, Jeff Short (Julie) of Newton, Todd Short of Newton and Kevin Short (Amy) of Newton; her grandchildren, Emily Benefiel of Newton, Lucas Matson of Newton, Ellie Burris (Bryant) of Newton and Kyle Pittman (Jessa) of Kokomo, IN; her great grandchildren, Henry Will, Holden Benefiel, Anistyn Benefiel, Maddox Pittman and Zhane Pittman; her husband Max Short; her granddaughter Kyra Sidwell; and her siblings, Cloyce Bunton, Gerald "Red" Bunton, William Bunton, Marie Clennon and Margarite Jackson.
