She was predeceased by: her parents, James Edmond and Lola Sarah Jourdan (Sparks); her daughter Ellen Scurlock; and her siblings, Lloyd "Doc" Jourdan, Ruby Mooney, Leonard "Bill" Jourdan, Roxie Jenkins and John Calvin "Kelly" Jourdan.

She is survived by: her husband L. Burl Scurlock; her son David Scurlock (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Camille Scurlock (Austin Brown), Anthony Scurlock, Andrew Scurlock and Veronica Scurlock; her daughter Stacy Scurlock-Besel (Paul Besel); and her granddaughters, Gabrielle Besel and Natalie Besel. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
