With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Hazel Irene Martin of Newton, Illinois, born in Douglas, Arizona, who passed away on July 22, 2023 at the age of 79. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Hazel Irene Martin to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Chester Kirby and Lois Kirby (Jones); her husband William Leroy "Babe" Martin; her brother H. E. Kirby; and her siblings-in-law, Margaret Curtright (Pedro), Jack Martin (Barb) and Ed Martin (Nadine).

She is survived by : her children, Tami Martin of Silver Spring, Maryland and Brad Martin (Janet) of Centreville; her grandson Ryan Martin of Centreville, Maryland; and her sister Velma Strawhun (Lee) of Mt. Dora. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In loving memory of Hazel, memorials may be made to the Jasper County Boy's and Girl's Park or Arbor Rose Activity Fund.
