He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward August and Olive Jane "Ollie" Stuckey (Ratliff); his children, Velvet Selby and Craig Nester; and his siblings, William Woods, Betty Jordan, Carl Stuckey and Charles "Chuck" Stuckey.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Stuckey (Foster) of Newton; his children, Michael Stuckey (Amanda) of Hidalgo, Illinois, Troy Nester (Crystal McKenzie) of Willow Hill, Illinois, Monty Nester of Newton, Illinois, John Troyer (Missy) of Lone Tree and Tammy Troyer of Eureka, Illinois.; and his grandchildren, Aalina Stuckey, Kobi Stuckey, Mylee Stuckey, Madison Stuckey, Josephus Stuckey, Jackson Stuckey, Zach Goss, Megan Nester, Morgan Nester, Monica Nester (Cordell Thompson), Cheri Selby, Brandy Goodman, Jamie Selby, Alisha Troyer, Alexandria Clark (Collin), Christyn Preece (Tracy), Ashley and Nathan.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Meyer Funeral Home-Newton (307 W Jourdan St, Newton, IL 62448). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
