It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Martha Victoria Pickens of Newton, Illinois, who passed away on January 20, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Obdulio Cueva Silupú and Carmen C. Gallo; her daughter Shari Pickens; and her siblings, Carmen Alicia Cueva Gallo, Elia Orlanda Cueva Gallo, Eduardo Hermán Cueva Gallo, Hugo Alberto Cueva Gallo and Raul Guillermo Cueva Gallo.

She is survived by: her children, Maria Bushur (Terry), Oscar Pickens and Donald Pickens (Candy); her husband L. D.; her grandchildren, Tanner, Victoria, Devin and Caitlen; her sister-in-law Estrela Cueva; and her nephew Marco Antonio Cueva.

Per family concerns with the COVID virus, there will not be a memorial at this time.

In loving memory of Martha, memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
