Maxine Evelyn Quick Obituary

We announce the death of Maxine Evelyn Quick (Newton, Illinois), who passed away on September 28, 2026, at the age of 86. Maxine will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Orman Riker and Hannah Arrilla Riker (Banning); and her husband Oliver Dan "Danny" Quick. She is survived by: her children, Cynthia "Cindy" Houlting of Palestine, Illinois, Orman "Oakey" Tohill (Mary) of Robinson and Kevin Tohill (Kim) of Robinson.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Gila Lutheran Cemetery. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
