He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerry Douglas Trout and Karen Sue Kingston (Kingston); his brothers, Rusty Trout and Shane Trout; and his son Micheal Scott Earp.
He is survived by: his children, Breanna Christine Trout of Lawrenceville, Jonathan Lee Trout of Lawrenceville, Flavius Douglas Earp of Olney, Ricky Lee Trout, II of Bridgeport and Memphis Ray Shelton of Effingham; his siblings, Jerrilynn Trout of Eldorado, Vonda Ledford of Greenville, SC, Flavius Trout of Poole, KY, Addie Trout of Eldorado, Josh Jennings of Carrier Mills and Eric Trout of Paducah, KY; and his grandchildren, Evalynne Earp, Lacey Earp, Landon Wiegel, Jalynn Trout, Tessa Rennier, Connor Earp, Audrina Earp, Kayleb Earp, Journee Brown and Jayden Brown.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Colonial Terrace Funeral Home & Crematory (700 4th St, Eldorado, IL 62930). A funeral service was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
