It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley R. Qualls of Newton, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on October 2, 2023, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her mother Ann Miles; and her brother Frank. She is survived by : her children, Loretta Hoynes (Kevin) of Newton, Illinois, Louis Qualls (Ekco) of Newton, Illinois and William Qualls of Kentland, Indiana.; and her grandchildren, Gianna, Tyler, Marissa, Connor, William, Abby, Jacob, Sierra of Lexi, AJ, Isiah, Jessica, Jimmy, David and Lisa.

In loving memory of Shirley, memorials may be made to the Meyer Funeral Home to assist with expenses.
