It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wayne Thomas Stark of Newton, Illinois, born in Olney, Illinois, who passed away on October 8, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Albert Stark and Lorene A. Stark (Bahl); his daughter Kimberly; his brother Jerome; his sister-in-law Jeanie Stark; and his niece Erin Blank.

He is survived by : his wife Karen "Kay" Volk; his children, Sherry Geier (Kelly) of Newton, Illinois, Tom Stark (Steffanie) of Newton, Illinois and Jason Stark (Karrie) of Robinson, Illinois; and his grandchildren, Ashley Ginder (Derek), Chris Geier (Stephanie), Mitchell Stark, Zachary Stark, Sophie Stark and Cooper Stark.

In loving memory of Wayne, memorials may be made to the Holy Cross Cemetery or the St Thomas School.
