He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Wesley Jones and Bernadine Jones (Boyd); his wife Cathy Jones of Newton; his children, Billy Jones of Newton and Nicole Jones of Las Vegas; his granddaughter Tessa Jones; his siblings, Randy Jones (Julie), Carol Earlewine (Charley), Tammie Mayhood and Jamie Mendenhall (Alan); his father-in-law Paul Johnson; his siblings-in-law, Cindy Johnson (Jessica Daniels) and Steve Johnson (Shelly); his brother Mark Wesley Jones; his mother-in-law Elnora Johnson; his grandparents, Everrett, Mary Jones, Aaron and Rosette Boyd; and his brother-in-law Mike Mayhood. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the New Beginnings Church of Newton (8622 IL-130, Newton, IL 62448). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
