She was predeceased by: her parents, Walenty and Stasia (Edward); and her sister Anna (Szymborska). She is survived by: her daughter Ewa; her son-in-law Tadeusz Zaczek; her granddaughters, Katarzyna and Karolina Zaczek (Tomasz Rybiński); her nephew Piotr Szymborski (Joanna); her niece Joanna Kasinska-Grad (Jerzy); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Olek, Antek and Mikołaj.
