We bid farewell to Devasia George of Niles, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 5, 2025 at the age of 80. Devasia touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Varkey and Mariamma of Kattathel; and his siblings, Annamma and Mathew. He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Sebastian, Tomson and Hope; his children-in-law, Bridget and Jithesh; his grandchildren, Joshua, Jessica and Asher; and his siblings, Joseph, Mariakutty and Omana.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Colonial-Wojciechowski Funeral Home of Niles (8025 W Golf Rd, Niles, IL 60714). A prayer was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 9:15 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Ransom Church (8300 N Greenwood Ave, Niles, IL 60714). A graveside service was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 11:15 AM at the All Saints Catholic Cemetery (700 N River Rd, Des Plaines, IL 60016).
In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation in his name to the Archdiocese of Chicago would be greatly appreciated.
