He was predeceased by: his wife Irene Mahon; his parents, William Notaro and Ann C. Notaro; and his brother William Mahon (Maryann). He is survived by: his children, Diane Shewmake and Patrick Mahon (Elizabeth); his grandchildren, Gregory Shewmake, Geoff Chaumette (Morin), Rachel Mahon and Nicholas Mahon (Hailey); his great grandchildren, Evelyn, Ferdinand, Esme, Beu, Remi, Lola, Bradley, Aiden and Amina Kekic; and his nieces and nephews, Debbie, Billy, Julia, Joey and Cheryl.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Malec & Sons Funeral Home (6000 N Milwaukee Ave, Chicago, IL 60646).
