She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Obecny and Elizabeth Obecny; her husband Robert; her daughter Debra; and her siblings, Isabelle (Leonard), Louis (Emily) and Thomas (Patricia).
She is survived by: her daughters, Janet Loerzel (Robert) and Wendy Litwitz (Edgar); and her grandchildren, Kelly Litwitz, Scott Litwitz, Eric Loerzel and Kevin Loerzel. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Skaja Terrace Funeral Home (7812 N Milwaukee Ave, Niles, IL 60714). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at the Maryhill Cemetery (8600 N Milwaukee Ave, Niles, IL 60714).
