With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Irena Peery of Niles, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Richard Gorecki (Jagoda), Halina Babinski (Leszek) and George Gurecki; her grandchildren, Joanna (Mark), Jennifer (Wojciech), Roland (Rhea), Michael (Iwona) and Bartosz (Ewa); her great grandchildren, Aniela, Lilia, Silas, Jeremy, Alexander and Ivy; and her sibling Roma Kuttritz.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Colonial-Wojciechowski Funeral Home of Niles (8025 W Golf Rd, Niles, IL 60714). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Adalbert Catholic Cemetery (6800 N Milwaukee Ave, Niles, IL 60714).
