He was predeceased by: his parent Kun Suh Chang; his stepmother Ok Pyo Chang; his wife Myoung Ja Lee; his brother Yoon Duck Chang (Jae); and his nephew Stephen Jinyoung Chang.
He is survived by: his sons, Daniel Young Chang and David Shin Chang; his daughters-in-law, Tammy and Suzy; his grandchildren, Mason, Ethan and Samantha; his brother Paul Yoon; his sisters-in-law, Christina Chang and Jean Chang; and his nieces and nephews, Grace, Esther, Stephanie, Edward, Andrew and Seongwoon.
