She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Frank R. Mendrick; her sons, Richard Wade Aztlan (Bethany) and Matthew R. Danalewich (Asako); her grandchildren, Renee Aztlan and Reagan Aztlan; and her siblings, John "JB" Vorderbrueggen (Annie), James Robert Vorderbrueggen (Mary Ann), Joseph Vorderbrueggen (Lisa) and Mary Jane Wheeler (David).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Skaja Terrace Funeral Home (7812 N Milwaukee Ave, Niles, IL 60714). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at 7:30 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at the Maryhill Cemetery (8600 N Milwaukee Ave, Niles, IL 60714).
