He was loved and cherished by many people including : his spouse Kim; his children, Jason Ackermann (Lindsey) and Megan Whelan (John); his mother Sara Spitz; his sisters, Melanie Skidmore (David) and Linda Rohskothen; and his nieces and nephews, Teagan, Adam, Maddie, Justin, Jacob, Jessica and Juliana.
