He was loved and cherished by many people including: his daughters, Jenny Pallathumadom (Jacob), Lucy Joseph (Tomy) and Jamie Shery (Joel); his grandchildren, Bryce and Mia; his siblings, Achamma Jacob (Chacko), Mathew Abraham (Thresiamma), Joy Abraham (Molly), Thomas Abraham (Meena), Alice Mathew (Alex), Mariyamma Abraham and Cicily Pannackal (Thomas); his siblings-in-law, Tomy Thomas (Kochurani), Lillamma Mathew (Dominic), Babychan Thomas (Tessamma), Jancy Augustine (Joseph), Valsamma Chakkappan (Joy) and Raju Thomas (late Sheila); his parents, Abraham Mathew and Anna Mathew; and his spouse Joyamma Joseph.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, September 9th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Thomas Syro Malabar Catholic Cathedral (5000 St Charles Rd, Bellwood, IL 60104). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 9th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the All Saints Catholic Cemetery (700 N River Rd, Des Plaines, IL 60016).
