With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Katharina Sampson of Niles, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Katharina left this world on November 6, 2025 at the age of 75, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Katharina shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Katharina farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband David Sampson; her sons, Michael Sampson and Brian Sampson (Cheryl); her grandchildren, Emma Sampson, Jace Sampson and Cade Sampson; and her brother Mathias Safran.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Skaja Terrace Funeral Home (7812 N Milwaukee Ave, Niles, IL 60714). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at the St. Adalbert Cemetery (6800 N Milwaukee Ave, Niles, IL 60714).
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to the National Kidney Foundation would be appreciated.
