With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lois Amelia MacAdam of Niles, Illinois, born in Evanston, Illinois, who passed away on August 1, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Lois Amelia is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. She was predeceased by: her partner Virginia Piontkowski; her father David V. MacAdam; her parent-in-law Lavona; her mother Ann B. Miller (Art); and her sister Marilyn Ann Ward (Ray).
She is survived by: her siblings, David P. MacAdam (Lori), Royann Garcia, Denise Baldwin (Jeff), Paul MacAdam (Evelyn) and Donald Haisler. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, grand nieces and grand nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Skaja Terrace Funeral Home (7812 N Milwaukee Ave, Niles, IL 60714). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 at 10:15 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. John Brebeuf Church (8307 N Harlem Ave, Niles, IL 60714).
