Salvatore Zumpano Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Salvatore Zumpano of Niles, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 28, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his sons, Anthony Theodore Zumpano and Michael Salvatore Zumpano (Maria); his grandchildren, Deanna Lagunas (Eddie), Andrea Cantu (Paul), Dominic Zumpano, Ashton, Kayla Zumpano, Sophia, Emilia, Olivia and Leo; and his siblings, Robert, Anthony, Mary Giraldi and Grace Zumpano. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
The lying in state will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at 8301 N Harlem Ave, Niles, IL 60714. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. John Brebeuf Church (8307 N Harlem Ave, Niles, IL 60714). An entombment will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at the All Saints Catholic Cemetery (700 N River Rd, Des Plaines, IL 60016).
