We bid farewell to Theon i Piangalakis of Niles, Illinois, born in Athens, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on August 19, 2025 at the age of 88. Theon touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her husband Emmanuel; and her siblings, Panagiotis Sakarelos, Maria Zahariadou, Nicholas Sakarelos and Irine Bourmas.

She is survived by: her daughters, Sofia Piangalakis and Dina Bueno (Leo); her great grandchild Henry Leonidas Welton; her siblings, Zoe Boemer (late Mateos), Dionysia Sakarelos, Theodoros Sakarelos (Niki) and Stella Zervos (late Dimitrios); and her close friend Dino Lathouris.
