He was predeceased by: his parents, William Shoup and Elizabeth "Betty" Williamson Shoup; his daughters, Melinda Gail and Gail Ann; and his brother Robert Shoup.
He is survived by: his wife Judy; his children, Mary Beth Myrick (Larry), John Shoup (Melissa) and Rob Shoup; his grandchildren, Alex Myrick (Haley), Kasey Prior (Kevin) and Jonathon Shoup (Jenny); and his siblings, Judy White, Mary White, Dorothy Ketchum and Steve Shoup. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
