She was predeceased by: her parents, Eldon Snyder and Audrey Trimble Snyder; her son-in-law Mac Harkey; and her siblings, George Snyder, Eldon Snyder and Marie Snyder.

She is survived by: her children, Kelly Harkey of LaHarpe and Jeff Smith (Philipines) of Bohol; her sister Ruth Harms (Duane) of Crystal Lake; her daughter-in-law Behbe Smith of Fort Madison; her grandchildren, Heather Halbrook (Matt), Megan Sparrow (Justin), David R. Smith and Eva Smith; and her siblings, Linda Zeh of Bonaparte and Kenneth Snyder of Fresno, California.. She is also survived by four great-granddaughters.

Memorials may be made in her memory to the Lee County Hospice or HUGS of Hancock County.
