With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Catherine Sanders of Nokomis, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 25, 2025 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Catherine leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Catherine may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parent Gene Sanders. She is survived by: her mother Ruth Sanders (Logsdon) of Nokomis, IL; her brother Theodore "Ted" Sanders (Myra); and her niece Alison Sanders of Oswego, IL..
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sutton Funeral Home (200 S Maple St, Nokomis, IL 62075). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church in Nokomis.
