As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Dwain may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Donna Lee Janssen and Carroll Hagemeier. He is survived by: his wife Betty Yurgin of Paul's Lutheran Church; and his children, Dennis Hagemeier (Christine) of Litchfield, Denise McFarland of Nokomis, Curt Hagemeier (Tina) of Morrisonville, Jolene Regan (Dennis) and San Juan Capistrano. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church (22009 E 19th Rd, Nokomis, IL 62075). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM and at 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church or to Montgomery County Breast Cancer Support Group.
