She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard "Dale" Brown and Nellie Gray (Howerton); her husband Robert Dale Brown; her foster parents, Paul Zimmerman and Ann Zimmerman; her daughter Stacey Grover; and her sisters, Gloria Jean Pasdeck, Rosemary Guild, Edna Marie Gray and Alice Marie Gray.

She is survived by: her boyfriend Randy Herzog of Nokomis, IL; her sons, Donald of Vandalia, IL and Bill Therry of Vandalia, IL; her grandson Andrew Grover of Marine, IL; her niece Jean Pryor of Idaho; and her nephew Sean Durand of Decatur, IL..

Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
