He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivan "Mike" Laurie and Carolyn Laurie (Pine). He is survived by: his wife Joan Vazzi; his sisters, Javene Willows (Rich) of Gillespe, IL and Brenda Korunka (Scott) of Mt. Olive, IL; his stepchildren, Gabe Cesaretti (Kristy) of Nokomis and Jamie Vazzi (Kameron Nettemeyer) of Nokomis; and his mother-in-law Mary Jean Scheller. He is also survived by 5 step grandchildren, 2 step great-grandchildren, 2 nephews, several cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Nokomis Christian Missions or to Cameron's Causes for the new Dog Park in Nokomis.
