He was predeceased by: his parents, William Green and Letha Green; and his daughter Mary Arlene Green. He is survived by: his daughters, Laura Watson (Jon) of Freeport, IL, Elizabeth Green (Todd West) of Oregon, IL and Jennifer Garcia (Anthony) of Oswego, IL; his stepchildren, Audra Ries (Joe) of Bellevue, IA and Jonathan Pentico (Morgan) of Scales Mound, IL; his siblings, Georgianna Johnson, Joseph Green (Joyce), Patrick Green (Diane) and Charles Green; and his pet Sugar. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John's Lutheran Church (625 Country Ln Dr, Lena, IL 61048). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in his memory.
