With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bethene Mae Schulke in Normal, Illinois, who passed away on January 22, 2026 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gust Johnson and Anna Johnson; her husband Carlton Paul Schulke of Aurelia; and her son Martin (Tricia Kennedy). She is survived by: her children, Steve (Cheryl), Gary (Beth), Cindy (Jeff Linert) and Dian (Jeff Mauth); her grandchildren, Nicholas, Evan, Wesley, Cameron, Forest, Casey, Jamie, Caitlin, Kyle, Anna and Luke; and her great grandchildren, Marcella, Lumi and Dylan.
